The basics
What is FreshlyVault?
FreshlyVault is the official self-service download portal for Freshly Squeezed Samples customers. It holds every order placed with us — going back 10+ years — so you can re-download files and prove ownership for tracks you’ve signed or licensed using our products. Read more on the about page.
How do I get my downloads?
On the home page, fill in three things:
- the PayPal email you paid with
- the year you bought
- one of the products you bought (pick from the list)
If all three match an order on our records, we show every order linked to that email — no need to look each one up separately. No account, no password, no email verification step.
I bought from you several times — do I need to look each one up separately?
No. One match is enough. As long as the email, year and product you enter line up with one of your orders, the lookup surfaces every other order linked to the same email. Pick whichever order is easiest to remember and the rest of your history comes with it.
One exception: if you used different PayPal accounts for different purchases (e.g. a personal account and a studio one), each account counts as a separate buyer in our system. Look up one order from each account, or contact support and we’ll merge them for you.
Why doesn’t the form just ask for a PayPal transaction ID?
It used to. The trouble is, PayPal generates a separate transaction ID for the buyer and the seller of every payment — so the ID printed on your PayPal receipt is the buyer-side ID and never matches the seller-side ID we have on file. A transaction-ID form failed for the majority of customers.
Email + year + product is three things only the real buyer knows, all of which can be recovered from your PayPal receipt if you can’t remember them outright. It’s more reliable, and it works for guest checkouts too.
Is FreshlyVault free to use?
Yes, completely. There’s no fee, no subscription, no upsell. If you bought something from us at any point in the last decade, you can re-download it here for as long as the site exists — which is the point. FreshlyVault is run as a long-term archive for existing customers, not a sales channel.
Finding the right details
Which email should I use?
The email you paid with on PayPal at the time of purchase — whether you had a PayPal account or checked out as a guest. PayPal needs an email either way, and that’s the one we have on file.
If you’ve since changed inboxes, you don’t need access to the old one any more — we’re just matching the address as a text string, not sending anything to it.
How do I check the year or product?
Search your inbox for an old PayPal receipt from us. Depending on when you bought, it’ll say either:
- “Receipt for your payment to Freshly Squeezed Samples” (older orders)
- “Receipt for your payment to Creative Nevada Limited” (our current legal entity, on more recent orders)
Either way, the purchase date and product name are listed in full. PayPal account holders can also find everything at paypal.com/activity.
What if I can’t find any of those details?
Don’t worry — email us with as much as you remember (product name, approximate purchase date, name on the PayPal account, the email you used at the time) and we’ll match the order manually. We’ve got records going back over a decade — we’ll find it.
Why don’t you use my old website login?
The old freshlysqueezedsamples.com user accounts couldn’t be carried across to our new system during the migration. Every order, though, was originally processed through PayPal — so we use those records as the source of truth. Anchoring to the PayPal email means it works even if you’ve since lost access to the old website account, changed inboxes, or checked out as a guest. As long as the order itself exists in PayPal’s records, we can match it.
Access & limits
Why was my lookup blocked?
We rate-limit the lookup form to prevent abuse. If you’ve submitted several requests in a short window — especially failed ones — you may need to wait a few minutes before trying again. If you’re consistently being blocked, email us.
How many times can I download each file?
Each file has a generous download cap and a limit on how many different locations (IP addresses) can grab it. Normal use never trips these — they exist to stop people sharing their links. If you legitimately need a fresh batch of downloads (new laptop, drive failure, library re-organisation), contact support and we’ll reset them.
Your orders & proof of purchase
Are my purchases safe?
Yes — every order, every downloadable file, and every licence is preserved exactly as it was at purchase. We have records going back over 10 years.
The old freshlysqueezedsamples.com user accounts couldn’t be carried across to our new platform, which is why FreshlyVault uses your PayPal email instead of a password. There’s no account to lose access to here — as long as your order is in our records, you can re-download any time. Forever.
I need proof of purchase to sign a track — can FreshlyVault help?
Yes. Each order page shows the PayPal transaction reference, purchase date, and the products included. That’s normally everything a label, distributor or sync agency needs to confirm ownership. If a counter-party needs anything more specific, get in touch.
Why are some of my ordered products not showing up?
If you’ve found your order but a specific product is missing from the downloads list, email us with the name of the product you’re looking for — we’ll find it and send you a fresh download link.
This can happen for a few reasons: very old orders sometimes need to be matched up by hand, retired products may have been moved into our archive, and bundles that have since been restructured can occasionally lose a child product in the migration. None of it means you’ve lost access — we still have everything on file, it just needs a manual nudge.
What file format will I get?
Every product downloads as a single ZIP file. What’s inside depends on the product:
- Sample packs — 24-bit WAV files (drum hits, loops, vocals, one-shots, construction kits)
- Synth presets — native preset banks for the synth in question (Sylenth1
.fxb, Spire.spire, Massive.nmsv, Serum.fxp, Z3TA+.z3p, etc.) - MIDI packs — standard
.midfiles, drop-in for any DAW - Templates — the original DAW project file (Ableton
.als, FL Studio.flp, Logic.logicx) with all bundled audio + presets - Courses — video files and accompanying PDFs
Unzip with anything — macOS Finder, Windows Explorer, 7-Zip, The Unarchiver. No special software needed.
Privacy & your data
What data do you have about me?
Very little. FreshlyVault holds:
- The email and name on the PayPal account you used at purchase time
- Which products were in each order, and the PayPal transaction reference for our own accounting
We do not store:
- Your physical address — these are digital downloads, we never needed it
- Your card or bank details — PayPal handled the payment and never shared any of that with us
- Any passwords — there’s no account to log into here, so there’s nothing to leak
- Anything from the old freshlysqueezedsamples.com login system — those accounts weren’t carried across the migration, so any legacy account data is gone
No marketing profile, no third-party tracking, no personalised analytics. The full privacy policy has the details.
Can I have my data deleted?
Yes. Email us from the address on your PayPal account and ask for deletion. We’ll scrub your email and name from our records and keep only the bare transaction reference for our own accounting (UK law requires us to retain proof of sale for a few years). After scrubbing, the lookup form won’t find you any more — the account effectively disappears from FreshlyVault.
Buying new products
Where can I buy new products?
FreshlyVault is for existing customers only — we don’t sell new products here. The main freshlysqueezedsamples.com store is now closed; our latest releases are available on:
- Splice
- Producer Loops
- Reveal Sound (Spire preset packs)
I bought from Splice / Producer Loops / Reveal Sound — can I redownload here?
No. Purchases made through third-party stores are managed by those stores. FreshlyVault only contains orders placed directly through freshlysqueezedsamples.com. To re-download a Splice, Producer Loops or Reveal Sound purchase, log into the store where you bought it.
